With India becoming a global hub for off shoring processes from companies across the globe, the focus on BPM has become intense and its value story has also become evident. The economic reforms and liberalization measures kick started a sea change in the way India as a country shaped itself as the world’s largest democracy and the one of the rising giants in the world over the last 20+ years.

Hence, the resultant economic growth truly enabled India to emerge as the ‘Global India’! This signifies a combination of two major components – Global off shoring, and Domestic (India to India + India Overseas), as depicted below.

Based on our interactions and insights, six major triggers have emerged as described in Figure 2 below that are strongly intertwined for BPM becoming an imperative today.  These interconnected six factors have a "multiplier" effect too, when they impact together, and that’s how the BPM today has become the ‘inflection point’ for competitive advantage.
