It was imperative to avoid any business disruption, at the same time take all the stakeholders along in the journey. This required an effective Change Management Strategy.

Going beyond the ‘whys’ and focus on ‘how’ organisations need to prepare themselves for the Digital Metamorphosis and transition successfully.

The leader must invest in development of employees through all three known currencies: Material Wealth i.e. Laxmi, Intellectual Wealth i.e. Saraswati, and Emotional Wealth i.e. Durga.

It was felt that ‘low hanging fruits’ (processes where there would be least resistance to consolidation) could be considered for transition first, as this would help create credibility & acceptability for Shared Services model.
