Narendrra has a robust experience of 25+ years in both Multinational & Large Indian companies in the areas of Financial & Operations Management especially in Shared Services Environments spanning across diverse sectors like Pharma/Healthcare, Life sciences, Textiles, Consumer durables and Media & advertising.

His experience includes CFO/Controllership & Shared Services Leadership roles in companies like Johnson & Johnson, Owens Corning, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Piramal Enterprises Limited. He has proven expertise in Strategic Financial Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Profit maximization, Managing Shared Services Operations, Developing talent & driving change.

Narendrra joined Piramal Enterprises Limited in July’14, where he has led the execution the company’s Shared Service Strategy. Over the past 3 years, the GBSS at Piramal Enterprises has grown up to become 86 member strong organization. Currently GBSS manages a wide range of processes spread across the Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, Contract Management, Human Resource domains and supporting the company’s Healthcare & Financial Services businesses.

Narendrra is a Cost & Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary & a Chartered Financial Analyst (ICFAI). He is also an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of UK. An avid learner, he is currently pursuing the Senior Executive Leadership Program from the Harvard Business School. His hobbies include reading books on management, strategy and self-improvement, travelling & watching Bollywood movies.

ONGC embarked upon realignment of its multi-faceted business activities through the powerful medium of IT. The IT mission was realigned ‘To develop an integrated, flexible and standardized Information Technology architecture to position ONGC towards fundamental competitive advantage’.

Key initiatives taken during BPM Implementation/ Automation: FileNet enabled, progressive payment life cycle reduction from 90 days to 53 days further reduced to 17 days in Jun’13 with >85% payment on time through VPOT (Vendor Payment on Time) program. Fully automated in-house tool was developed for revenue reporting by integration of the billing systems with the ERP Oracle R12.
