Recently having been promoted as services strategic leader for Solvay group, Guy has 10 years tenure in Shared Services industry having built from scratch the first Solvay 3S inhouse shared services center in Lisbon (2005), then in Curitiba (2010) and in Bangkok (2012). He’s currently Head of Worldwide Services Delivery operations at Solvay Business Services - the new GBS organization of the Solvay Group created in 2013, leading a team of over 1,200 highly competent employees, experts and managers throughout the world including 4 Heads of Regional centers of expertise, 1 Global BO supervisor and 1 Head of WW Transformation.

The global shared services cover 4 end-to-end processes: OtC Order-to-Cash, PtP Procure-to-Pay, HtR Hire-to-Retire and RtR Record-to-Report; and the services delivery operations are organized locally in Front-Offices in 32 countries, coordinated by 4 regional centers of expertise in Lyon, Princeton, São Paulo, Singapore, and globally served from 4 integrated Back-Offices in Lisbon, Riga (recent CYTEC acquisition), Curitiba and Bangkok

Previously founder and General Manager of Solvay CICC treasury center based in Brussels running short-term treasury transactions for all affiliates in the world with an in-house dealing room for all hedging, with 20 credit managers for factoring and 2 treasurers for cash-pooling and banking, he was also posted in the US for 8 years a VP Finance & Administration of Solvay Polymers Inc. and Solvay Pharmaceuticals Inc.

He personally covered all aspects related to the SSC from process redesign, business case for location selection, launch, deployment, stabilization, optimization, up to extending the service value-proposition to the next level by being recognized as transformation engine by Solvay Comex and as «Second Generation» SSC by PWC, thanks to a great team. Active member of the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce and the Belgian Royal Gaulois Club he is a permanent speaker to the MCE Management Center Europe in Finance.
