As part of my stint as HR Generalist in Thermo Fisher ScientificI got to work in a high-matrix, global & multi cultural environmentover 5 years. I got to work on streamlining the HR processes andpolicies for the apart from the HR Business partnering role due to themergers at the time. Opportunity to set up teams supporting globalfunctions such as IT, R&D, customer support engaging leaderswith focus on unique business deliverable & employees of diversedemography to leverage on the local talent capability. Exposure inend to end HR leadership activities for the entity has been a greatlearning in partnering across C&B, TM, ER and Integration activities.
I started my career as a management trainee with Firstsourcesolutions.As the first assignment I got to partner in setting up a businessunit of 400 people from an HR perspective, which gave hands onexperience in key focus areas of HR. I got to experience processexcellence methodologies first hand as part of the projects here.Being a dynamic organisation, change management has been a keylearning as part of this stint.
