Naveen Gullapalli currently Global Head, Innovation, Novartis Business Services, responsible for developing digital / transformative opportunities for Novartis Business Services world-wide through disruptive innovation.
Naveen is also the Head of Novartis's Capability Centre in India. He is responsible for developing and leading one of Novartis' largest location capabilities, with over 5000 associates working across multiple functions, into a increasingly valuable, efficient and strategic centre for the company. He is part of the the Novartis Healthcare India Board and global leadership teams. The GIC / GCC of the $50B Novartis corporation has operations in Business Services - IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Commercial, etc, Drug Development and Technical Operations, for the enterprise.
A career global business services leader, his passion is to build lasting enterprise capabilities that deliver great results and contribute to digital transformation in the enterprise. His ambition is to contribute to journey where today’s GBS can drive some competitive advantage to the enterprise given the confluence of great talent, technology, data science and innovation capabilities.
The majority of his career has been in delivering transformation, globalization and creation of new capabilities. He has held leadership roles in Asia, the Middle East and Europe, working across diverse areas such as technology, finance, customer services and global business services. He has strong external focus, actively engaging with global companies and the innovation ecosystem.
He has lived and worked in four countries, works in a diverse and global team and very much enjoys working with people from around the world.
