Shared Services Forum (SSF) India is a vibrant community of business services practitioners in Global India with a vision to create and disseminate knowledge for excellence in Business services, IT & Business Process Management (BPM).

GENESIS

Incepted in 2011, this pioneering industry platform is ‘For Practitioners, By Practitioners’ ofShared/ Business Services. SSF was founded bya business services industry leader, Ravi S Ramakrishnan, with the purpose of sharing the knowledge which was resident with a few leaders of the shared services, business services and outsourcing industry. After 25 years of Business & Finance Leadership experience in companies like Unilever, Murugappa Group. Eicher and American Express, Ravi drew his inspiration to become the first-generation entrepreneur in the Business Services space and used his rich and pioneering experience to establish SSF that has continued to offer knowledge exchange on business services to global and Indian organizations to enable strategizing, set up, stabilize, and transform Captive Shared Services in India and overseas.

Rakesh Sinha, the Co-Founder of SSF,recognised the core value of peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and furthered the objective of SSF to make it the only industry platform that has experiential insights and wisdom guiding it to become interactive and thought-enabling for the complete ecosystem.

SSF focuses on delivering core values for the shared services community, the evolution, and leadership, to provide its members with opportunities to learn from experiential insights, enhance performance, individually, as teams and as shared services and global business services operations – and the Forum continues to grow and evolve from strength to strength.

This drives the much-needed innovation for the member organizations and leaders, adoption of latest tools, concepts, technologies, and techniques to become capability centres, and enables the Business Services operations to become a strategic asset to the organization.
