Serge currently leads the setup of a new venture at Anheuser Busch InBev (AB-InBev). The purpose of that venture is to bring GCC capabilities to the market to help other companies successfully transform and deliver business value.
Before moving to this role early 2022, Serge was leading the Global Capability Center at AB InBev in India. Throughout those 4 years, the center transformed from a transactional backoffice to an intelligent operation powered by AIML. He has been with the company for 14 years and has been a responsible consumer of its beers for over 25 years.
His career has been characterized by bold cross-functional moves. After a 10-year career in IT outsourcing management, he joined AB-InBev. He led AB-InBev through a large-scale IT outsourcing effort. Afterwards he relocated to the Czech Republic to establish the Logistics Operations Center for Europe. He then headed up the Supply Chain Planning function for Europe, owning all Supply Chain planning functions from long term Footprint strategy, over Demand and Network planning to short term production and materials planning. In 2018 he moved to India, to establish and lead the Finance, Commercial and People operations team for several AB-InBev Zones. He invests in and advises several startups in India.
Serge has the ambition in each role to bring rigorous operational discipline combined with a passionate mindset for attracting and developing great people. In 2021 he was recognized as one of the TOP 100 Great People Managers of India, by Forbes.
Serge is a Belgian national and has a Business School Degree from The Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium and an Executive short MBA of Instead.
