Suman is the Managing Director of Eli Lilly’s GCC based in Bengaluru since its inception in 2016.

Suman has over 30 years of proven track record in Finance (country and regional financial operations), Business development, Procurement, Shared services, and General management. He has a diverse network with working exposure to a whole swathe of countries namely the USA, Russia, Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Asia and has living and working experience in Mexico. He also lead Lilly's initial foray into an evaluation of the potential for internal capability centers in 2001. He has developed and honed a set of unique skills, capabilities, connections and expertise in creating edges for both the business and in establishing and running a GCC thus driving the achievement of strategic goals and objectives for the corporation . Prior to Lilly, he was associated with Smithkline Beecham India.
