Currently Vijay is working with Telangana Government to get more IT investments into Telangana, specifically to increase Tier 2/Tier 3 infrastructure across Telangana. As part of this mission, Telangana government already opened IT Hubs at Warangal, Karim Nagar, Khammam and looking forward to open more at Nizamabad, Mahabub Nagar, Siddipet and Nalgonda, Adilabad, Ramagundam and Wanaparthy etc.
Prior to working with Telangana Government, Vijay worked with Tech Mahindra, GE Capital,
Morgan Staley, American Express and California Micro Devices, focusing on critical assignments and turnaround stories ranging from Delivery to Technology and Business Process Re-engineering.
He was part of a pioneering team that propagated offshoring to India, as a strategic imperative to reduce costs & improve quality.
Vijay is an alumnus of Kellogg School of Management with an MBA, holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington and BTech from JNTU.
Vijay also participated as part of NASSCOM – Telangana Chairman, Board of TIE-Hyderabad, Executive Committee of HYSEA & Society of Cyberabad Security Council, Hyderabad Golf Association and Hyderabad Angels. Besides the above, Vijay is an avid golfer and running is also his passion.
He has addressed many international industry forums and seminars on Operational Excellence.
