Pankajam Sridevi is the Managing Director of Commonwealth Bank of Australia in India. With over 35 years of experience in diverse sectors ranging from manufacturing to technology to banking, Pankajam is an accomplished executive. Her passion lies in building a learning and innovative organization through continual improvement and transformation, where employees can develop their careers and deliver exemplary customer service.

Pankajam is proficient in building and retaining large teams, driving value for parent banking organizations across Australia, Asia, and Europe. She has established robust governance and risk management practices that effectively meet the expectations of banking regulators in different countries. Her technical expertise in driving better customer outcomes through technological interventions has led to the large scale implementation of robotics in retail, commercial, institutional, financial planning, and payroll in a banking environment. Her proficiency also extends to intelligent processing using digitization and machine learning, program governance, and production governance of Robotic Process Automation, and implementation of
Machine Learning for Intelligent Processing.

Pankajam has led teams of 4500 to 16000 technologists and operations professionals, supporting 17 countries in investment banking, trade and supply chain, commercial and corporate lending, and payments. She is committed to building employable teams and leading change within the organization. She has spearheaded building senior leadership in house and improved business performance in cost, service levels, and process optimization.

Pankajam is a passionate supporter of fostering diversity in the workplace, with a particular focus on promoting opportunities for women, persons with disabilities, and members of the LGBTI community. Furthermore, she played a vital role in advocating for women in management positions and recruiting candidates with disabilities, resulting in achieving 70 percent of the organization's diversity goals. Pankajam has served as the past President of the Bangalore Chamber of Industries and Commerce, Co Chair of the Abilities Forum in CII, and council member of the Australian Chamber of Industries and Commerce. She has won numerous awards, including the BPM Achiever in Global India Award for delivering business impact through technology transformation, Women Super Achiever Award by the World HRD Congress for outstanding leadership, and the NCPEDP Helen Keller Award for making a difference to communities. Most recently, she has won the Woman CEO of the Year Award from the GISR Foundation in 2020, the Iconic Leaders Creating a Better World for All Award at Women Economic Forum (WEF) Bangalore, and the India's Top 30 Emerging Tech Leaders award at the Intelligent Automation India 2020
