Priyaranjan Jha (Ranjan)

Ranjan has 26 years of global experience in GBS & BPM Operations, Global Capability Centers, transformation, analytics, technology, HR & marketing, at PepsiCo, GE-Genpact, Reliance Infocom, IBM & Tata Motors.

At PepsiCo since 2019, he is currently the COO of GBS, responsible for all delivery hubs in the network (China, Egypt, India, Mexico, Poland, Russia & Spain, with >9000 associates). In his first role at PepsiCo, he set up the greenfield India centre in Hyderabad and scaled it to over 2000 associates. Some of his achievements include building a robust talent supply chain, establishing a retail analytics capability and building industry alliances.

Earlier, he was with GE and Genpact for over 14 years. His last role there was SVP- Digital & RPA, standing up a Digital COE driving automation at scale. He was also the Location Head for Hyderabad (c. 18000 associates). Previously, he was their Global Leader for Automotive, Hospitality, Aerospace & Industrial Machinery verticals (c. 3500 associates). While at Genpact, Ranjan spent several years in the US on a key account relationship role.

Ranjan is known for excellence in building, integrating and mentoring large, multi-geography teams. He is passionate about organisational culture, purpose, engagement, communications and process excellence.

Ranjan has an MBA from IIM, Lucknow; and a BE from NIT, Silchar. He is also a certified Six Sigma professional.

Ranjan is actively involved with NASSCOM and SSON. He is a passionate angel investor and advises a few startups in healthcare, education and not-for-profit sectors. He is keen on medieval/ colonial history, biographies, meditation, classical music & giving back.
