Robin is a senior professional executive with experience in several large multinational corporations in over 20 countries, straddling many business verticals. 

He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant, Company Secretary, and has a Master’s degree in commerce. Robin is currently the Chairman of Nucleon Research Pvt Ltd, a global Clinical Research Organization (CRO). 

Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of Caprihans India Ltd for over 10 years. His earlier stints include Hindustan Unilever (as General Manager), Arcelor-Mittal Germany (as Managing Director), Thomas Cook (as Executive Director), Essar Steel (as Executive Director), Suzlon Energy (Group CFO and Member of the Global Boards). 

Robin has won several business awards including the Ethical Business Practices award from Rotary International; the recent 'Hall of Fame' accolade from CFO-India magazine. ; and many others. He was earlier nominated as the best CFO in India by Business Today magazine.

He is currently on the Board of Independent Directors, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. He is also on the Board of SME Chambers of India. He is the past Chairman of CII Maharashtra State Council; and Chairman of CII (Western Region) for Corporate Governance & ESG.

Robin has written several books, including 3 best-selling business non-fiction books:

  1. "CORPORATE FRAUDS: BIGGER, BROADER, BOLDER" published in December 2021. The book is an Amazon Best Seller. 
  2. "WHO BLUNDERS AND HOW - The Dumb Side of the Corporate World" - published in 2019. 
  3. “WHO BLUNDERS AND HOW - Scams, Fraud and the Dark Side of the Corporate World" (Published in 2015) Available in English, Hindi, and Marathi. It's also an Amazon best-seller. 

Earlier, Robin had written 3 books on Indirect Taxation: (i) Complete Treatise on Central Excise & Procedures (in 2 volumes); (ii) Central Excise Valuation, and (iii) MODVAT, which went into 10 editions.

Robin is a much sought-after speaker on business, strategy, economy, finance, and governance subjects; a popular columnist, a keen gym enthusiast; and loves to play badminton and table tennis whenever time permits.
