Somesh Chandra

Mr. Somesh Chandra as Director & Head O & T Strategy and Shared Services of Religare Enterprises Limited is responsible for group operations and technology strategy and heads the group’s shared services organization that provides customer and back-office services to all subsidiaries and functions.

Somesh in his 14 years of career, has a good mix of management consulting, IT and operations experience having worked with McKinsey, Computer Sciences Corporation and Tata Consultancy Services. In his role at McKinsey, Somesh was one of their key leaders in the Outsourcing & Offshoring practice in India specializing in the technology space. He worked closely with NASSCOM, many of the Indian & Global technology companies and multiple banks across geographies on outsourcing, growth, technology strategy and operations excellence related topics. At CSC, Somesh was part of the Financial Services Group and was managing its largest general insurance account. Before that he was leading the Healthcare product development group in India. At TCS, Somesh was part of the Banking & Financial Services group. He was one of the founding members of its largest custody banking product offering called NCS. He has served more than 10 global banks across Asia, Africa, US, Europe.

Somesh has done his B.E. from R.V.C.E Bangalore. He is a certified Project Management Professional & Professional Academy for Healthcare Management (AHM 250).
