Start NowSusmita leads women entrepreneurship scaling-up initiatives and the funding desk at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore. A few of the flagship programs are Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Finance for Growth and Swavalambane, the capacity building program for rural women of Karnataka.
She has been working in the entrepreneurship industry since 2014 and has led several accelerators and large-scale programs focused on both innovations and impact across sectors and collaborated with various ecosystem stakeholders. Apart from advising businesses on growth strategies, she also works with incubators.
Before joining NSRCEL in 2022, she worked with CIIE.CO, IIM Ahmedabad where she led programs, and worked with portfolio companies. She has authored the Handbook for Non-Profit Incubator Managers. She holds a post graduate degree in financial management. Prior to joining the entrepreneurship industry, she has worked for eight years across academia, foundations and in corporate sector.
