Ravi S Ramakrishnan is the Founder & CEO of RvaluE Group, comprising Consulting and Leadership Development and Founder, Shared Services Forum (SSF), an interactive Industry Platform for Shared Services & IT/ITeS. He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary with 35+ years of corporate sector and entrepreneurial experience.

Recognized as a ‘Thought Leader’ in BPM, Ravi is passionate about creating the ‘Global India’. His vision is to enable organizations and people to ‘realize business value’, having worked with multiple domains, across multiple functions and business units. The RvaluE team has set up 15+ SSCs in India and overseas, 30+ BPM assignments, delivering cost saves. Ravi has a unique blend of exposure to professional, family and global work environments and in multiple domains of manufacturing/service Industries. He has been recognized as one of the visionary CEOs by the CFO Magazine in 2012 and RvaluE as ‘Pioneers, Gurus and Game Changers’ in Shared Services and Business Process Transformation in India by Consultants Review and Insights Success magazines.

Starting his career with Hindustan Unilever Limited, Ravi comes with senior leadership experience as Controller/Commercial Manager in Murugappa Group, CFO at Eicher Group, and before that as Vice President and Business Leader of the global leadership team at American Express to set up the pioneering Global Financial Center. He enabled growth and globalization of the Business Process Service operations, focused on business process transformation, large GIC operations, value delivery, creating ‘global centers of excellence’, and working with customers across the globe.

Ravi believes that business and people are two sides of the same coin. He mentors business leaders and is an Executive Coach for mid to senior level leaders. He is a speaker at national and international conferences. He is the first independent consultant in India certified by ITSqc, Carnegie Mellon University, USA to implement eSCM – eSourcing Capability Model, and the emerging global standard for the SSC/BPO/ITeS space.

ONGC embarked upon realignment of its multi-faceted business activities through the powerful medium of IT. The IT mission was realigned ‘To develop an integrated, flexible and standardized Information Technology architecture to position ONGC towards fundamental competitive advantage’.

Key initiatives taken during BPM Implementation/ Automation: FileNet enabled, progressive payment life cycle reduction from 90 days to 53 days further reduced to 17 days in Jun’13 with >85% payment on time through VPOT (Vendor Payment on Time) program. Fully automated in-house tool was developed for revenue reporting by integration of the billing systems with the ERP Oracle R12.
