Alok Maheshwary

Alok Maheshwary is an Industry veteran in the Finance Shared Services having extensive experience in Driving Change, Managing Large Scale Operations and Global Business Partnerships. He has hands-on experience in initiating and implementing off-shoring strategy, building start-up organizations, leading and implementing global best practices and managing multiple stakeholders. Alok recently joined State Street as the Global Leader for the firm’s Finance Controllership processes across the Hub Locations. He is also responsible to drive accountability & ownership within the Hub teams, invest in infrastructure upgrades thereby delivering strong efficiencies in partnership with the Global process Owners. Prior to joining State Street, Alok spent over 8 years with Citi as the Center Head of Finance & Risk Shared Services. He was also the Site Leader for Citi’s Shared Services in Mumbai responsible to build a ‘One-Citi’ culture through a Common Governance Framework, Effective Recruitment and Talent Development Initiatives covering a wide range of operations and functions globally with 28 Business Units, including Finance, Risk, Compliance business analytics, & Operations.

Alok has over 25 years of work experience in large Multinational Financial Institutions including HSBC, Standard Chartered and American Express. He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant by qualification.
