Rajendra Prasad

Rajendra Prasad is currently serving as President and Chief Financial Officer at SRF.

Prior to joining the company in 2006, Mr Prasad served as Lead Controller at American Express and on the Board of Directors and as Chairman – Audit Committee for its subsidiaries in India.

Prior to joining American Express, he had a short stint in the Indian civil service, and also worked in the hotel and chemicals industry.

With over 32 years of diverse functional experience, Mr Prasad has served as a member of the RBI’s committee on introducing accounting standards in the banking sector, and of the special task force of the ICAI on Accounting Standards for carbon credits.

He is a Chartered Accountant and trained Six Sigma Black Belt. He has two copyrighted softwares to his credit and is a qualified DISA & CISA.

Mr Prasad received the ICICI Bank & Businessworld Best CFO award in 2012.
