He leads a global Source to Pay team across Bangalore, Manila and Costa Rica which includes Accounts Payable, Procurement, Center of Expertise and various global transformation project for Bayer. He has over 20 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Managing Global Operations and driving Process Transformation projects for Fortune 500 companies. His areas of expertise encompass strong domain & system knowledge, talent acquisition, mentoring, leading D E & I initiatives and Audit & Controls.
He has held various senior leadership roles in various functions like Source to Pay, Financial Accounting, Audit Planning, Order to Cash, Process transformation, and Talent Management.
During Sameer’s 9 years career at Bayer, he has managed muti functional finance teams like Record To Report, Order to Cash, Master Data, Source to Pay, Procurement Operations along with driving various Digital Transformation initiatives.
Sameer is a graduate in Commerce & Inter CA along with a diploma in French Language.
He is an energetic and a dynamic leader who is driven by Operational Excellence, Creating business Value and Creativity. He is passionate about People Development and has led various D E I initiatives within the Bayer GBS India Org while won several accolades from SSON & SSF.
Sameer is an avid traveler who loves exploring new cuisines, cultures and places of historical significance. He also loves playing Chess.
